Who/What: Nelson Mandela [commission]

Time taken: 17+ hours
Tools: Derwent Coloursoft, Derwent Drawing, pale yellow-based Canson paper
Comments: Had some fun with the wrinkles despite the fact that it takes a bit of extra time.
The chinese white Derwent Drawing pencil pissed me off. Every time I attempted to sharpen, it breaks off too easily. Not something I'd recommend.

Impactyou did a very great job. i like that you respected the aspect of the model. you did well even the hardest parts like hair and ears where you used right the contrast light-shadow. the face wrinkles are also well done, just that above his right eyebrow it kinda looks like a vortex.
my favorite part is eyes-nose where you did a great job, and it looks very realistic. you worked good at his mouth too, and i like that his face, even if he's smiling doesn't have that tense look. i appreciate the fact that you did that loose effect at his neck. this way it doesn't look like an unfinished piece.
